About The Event
On June 14th, Symbioneers and Stichting SBI invite you for an unforgettable rewilding experience with famous African (wild)life guide Alan McSmith.
Alan has spent 35+ years guiding in the remotest corners of Africa. He has walked alongside San Bushmen in the Kalahari — the world's oldest living culture — absorbing a wisdom tradition that stretches back 50,000 years. He has paddled 3,000+ km solo through the Okavango Delta. He has spoken at TEDxAmsterdam and became world-known when a video went viral (>40 million views) in which a massive elephant charges him, but eventually turns away through Alan's calm presence.
He has built a philosophy of Natural Leadership building on the belief that nature is our greatest teacher. His wisdom on living as a 'human animal' in our current (un)civilisation is crucial in the current times we are living in. As Symbioneers, we want to share the experience of his presence…
